Starting from 2002 Converse Bank CJSC is the plenipotentiary member of the international payment system VISA INTERNATIONAL, from 2009 is the affiliated member of MASTERCARD system, and since 2000 is the plenipotentiary member of the local payment system "ArmenianCard". Converse Bank offers to its customers the following types of cards - credit, debit and salary processing¹:  

• VISA Electron, VISA Gift, VISA Classic, VISA Business,VISA Gold and VISA Platinum,VISA Infinite 
• Cirrus/Maestro, MasterCard Standard and MasterCardGold
• ArCa Classic

¹ The cards, issued by the Bank, are valid for two years.   

On the basis of results of continual examinations and monitoring of claims and requirements of different groups of customers, the Bank has developed certain package of benefits for each type of card typical for certain group of customers. These packages are designed as a guarantee for reliable and comfortable use and saving of money. Almost every type of card holds back the following benefits:  

• Individual service approach at any universal merchant point in the world /service points, POS-terminals, ATMs/;
• Possibility of getting credit limit in AMD or in foreign currency;
• Acquisition of additional cards under the card account;
• Opportunity of becoming the member of the largest discount system in the RA;
• Facility to get discounts at more than 50.000 shops in foreign countries;
• In case of losing the card outside Armenia, transfer of money available on card account to the given country;
• Free and voluntary health insurance policy during trips to abroad;
• Ability of making online shopping via internet;
• Delivery of SMS message on the transaction to the cardholder at the moment of making the transaction;
• Making utility payments through ATMs
• Possibility of service at more than 26 million merchant and service points, as well as making transactions with 870 thousand ATMs all over the world.

Starting from 2009 the Bank became the member of the International system PRIORITY PASS that enabled the Converse Bank VISA PLATINUM and VISA INFINITE  cardholders acquire PRIORITY PASS membership cards and have access to VIP lounge of more than 600 airports in more than 300 cities of more than 100 countries of the world.  

Converse Bank C.J.S.C. is the only bank in the Republic of Armenia and throughout the whole territory of Transcaucasia, which issues VISA CLASSIC and MASTERCARD STANDARD cards, enabling cardholders to make personal design - online, via the bank's website. In 2010 the Bank has announced a competition that will take place every month among all cardholders of the Bank. The competition titled "My Handmade Card" is aimed at making the procedure of acquiring and using payment cards more pleasant and original. The cardholder will design the payment card at his/her discretion and in accordance with own preferences. By the way, the monthly winner card will not pay the card service fee for the first 12 months.  

The Bank will also provide you with an exclusive facility of acquiring the following types of AMERICAN EXPRESS plastic cards - Gold, Platinum and Centurion. The latter enables the cardholders to make free and unlimited costs, get a 24-hour service, enjoy the flexible discount system advantages all over the world.  

In 2010 the Bank established the largest discount system in the Republic of Armenia that involves about 250 merchant points and shops. This system gives the cardholders possibility of saving money and constantly getting additional discounts in case of making non-cash shopping.  

Cooperation Agreements are also signed with the payment systems VISA and MasterCard, which give the cardholders opportunity of getting discounts up to 75% or 30% at more than 50.000 merchant points of the world, thus saving money and enjoying profitable shopping. 

From time to time the Bank holds promotional actions with VISA and MasterCard payment systems. During the recent years the customers, who have been very active in making non-cash operations with the Bank cards, had won trips to Turin, Disney Land, Egypt and Dubai, as well as precious prizes and gifts. The Bank is planning to hold such actions periodically as evidence of reliable and mutually beneficial cooperation between the Bank and the given payment systems for the benefit of customers.
