Lia Hovhannisyan was appointed Chief Accountant and Member of Management Board of Converse Bank in April 2026.

She joined the Bank in 2008. Throughout her career at the Bank, she has held a number of key positions in accounting, finance, and supervisory reporting to the Central Bank of Armenia, progressing through all stages of professional development.

She has served as Deputy Chief Accountant and Head of the Reporting Division, overseeing the preparation of the Bank’s financial and supervisory reports, external audit processes, and tax compliance activities.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Lia Hovhannisyan has been teaching accounting since 2017.
She is a member of the international professional organization ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and a qualified expert accountant in the Republic of Armenia.

She also holds the Certified Sustainable Finance Manager (CSFM) qualification and the ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR).

She graduated with honors from the Master's program of the Armenian State University of Economics, specializing in Finance and Credit.
