Database Developer

Job description: Converse Bank is seeking highly motivated and experienced specialist to join the Software Management Unit, in development of new software solutions as well as maintaining effective databases with high levels of data availability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the team to plan, estimate and design software solutions;
  • Analyze data model requirements from functional specification, creating database designs and Entities/ Attributes/ Relationships definitions;
  • Develop triggers and stored procedures;
  • Contribute the efficient and effective completion of multiple concurrent projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
  • At least 2 years of experience with database design and development;
  • Microsoft SQL server certifications are an asset;
  • SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services;
  • Expertise in Transact SQL scripting;
  • Proficiency in the understanding of MS SQL Server 2008/ 2012 stored procedures;
  • Development applications: MS SQL Server Management Studio, MS SQL Server Enterprise Manager;
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills;
  • Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns knowledge/experience;
  • Knowledge of C# and the principles of .NET platform is a plus;
  • Knowledge of VB is a plus;
  • Knowledge of AS-Bank 4.0 is a plus;
  • Fluency in Armenian, good knowledge of Russian and English;
