Grant Akopian, was appointed as Deputy CEO in August 2019 and has served as the CFO of Converse Bank since February 2017. Grant joined the bank in 2011 and worked as adviser to the CEO.

In 2008 Grant moved to Armenia and joined Haypost Trust Management BV. At Haypost TM BV, he was responsible for executing Trust’s strategy at Haypost CJSC, Armenian postal service, where he took an active role in the corporate development of the company. Grant was Haypost CJSC’s Board of Directors from 2008 till 2019.

Before moving to Armenia, he worked in various positions at Corporacion America’s headquarters in Buenos Aires.

Grant holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from University of Buenos Aires, Master in Business Administration degree from Columbia University and speaks Spanish, Russian, Armenian and English.
